FINAL FS Competition 2017 #MoveYourTalent
Rome, October 13th, 2017. Twenty-two young talents have been selected by the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group to join the company soon. The 43% of them are women.
The Business Game Srl is proud to have been able to make its own contribution – for the third consecutive year – to FS Competition, the contest organized and promoted by FSI in order to identify the best students and graduates of Engineering and Economics throughout Italy. The 70 finalists, carefully selected among the approximately 2,000 young people who, since July, participated in the three serious online games specifically created by the TBG team, met in Rome on 11th and 12th of October. During these two days they were involved in sharing experience activities and had the opportunity to support an interview with the recruiters of the FSI group. Finally, they have been involved in the design and development of an integrated mobility project.
“FS Competition 2017 #MoveYourTalent – says Renato Mazzoncini, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of FSI – has offered young people an important opportunity to learn about the world of collective mobility and especially the railroad. This was an opportunity to intercept young talents capable of generating value and innovation, a key requirement for achieving the ambitious goals of our 2017-2026 Industrial Plan, with which we aim to become an important European player in integrated collective mobility. For the third consecutive year – continued Mazzoncini – we are Best Employer of Choice in the ranking of the most desirable companies from the new graduates. Initiatives like these allow us to further enhance the engagement of young people by offering them a fun and exciting experience, orienting them towards the world of work and reducing the distance between university and business“.
FrecciaLink and Leonardo Express, the two winners of FS Competition 2017, have completed the most innovative projects, evaluated on the basis of originality, feasibility and sustainability criteria. The Fast Intelligence Maintenance (FIM) project, which was ranked first, was designed by the FrecciaLink team to reduce, through an app integrated with the Systeme, Anwendungen, Produkte in der Datenverarbeitung (SAP), the breakdown times on the railway line. The main objective is to improve efficiency, increase the availability of infrastructure and reduce disadvantage costs. Thanks to this app, maintenance operators would receive technical support and information in real time, thus increasing internal customer satisfaction. Second place for FS-SMART, the project of Leonardo Express team, which offers a single rechargeable multi-service card for accessing the different modes of transport, clearing the ticketing queues in a simple, quick and ticketless way.
The two winning groups have been awarded bonuses to travel with Trenitalia. The FrecciaLink team was also offered a two-day stay with entry to the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa (NA).
The surprise, reserved for 28 participants, was the most prized prize: the opportunity to join the FSI Group, in line with the needs of different businesses. In addition, all the other participants can also be contacted for further job opportunities.
