On November 24th 2017, at the San Siro Stadium, took place the meeting Esports: Let’s Play, For Real!, organized by AC Milan and the Master SBS. The event was born with the aim of deepening the theme of Esports. Starting from the international situation, focus has narrowed to the analysis of the phenomenon in Italian reality, where the Esports theme is becoming a business trend. The meeting, moderated by Massimo Callegari, journalist and sport commentator on Mediaset Premium Sport, has featured important speakers: Marco Saletta, General Manager of Sony Interactive Entertainment Italia, Daniel Schmidhofer, CEO of ProGaming Italia & Managing Director Italia – ESL, Giovanni Zurleni, LNPB Commercial & Marketing Director, Alessandro Sesani, TeamForge General Manager, Marco Nazzari, Nielsen Sports Managing Director, Stefano Corona, Sport & Entertainment Advisor. Everyone has identified a different key to reading. What are the Esports for a company that produces video games and consoles? And for one who organizes gaming events? What is the point of view of the players? And of the sponsors?
